Työvene is security audited by, and have active security agreements with, the Finnish Defence forces and the Finnish Border guard. We also have International facility security clearance certification and multiple references for working in accordance with NATO AQAP.

Louhi

Louhi is a multipurpose icebreaker and oil and chemical spill response vessel owned by the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE), but manned and operated by the Finnish Navy.

She is capable of recovering spilled oil and chemicals in both open water and ice conditions, extinguishing shipboard fires and emergency towing of the largest merchant ships operating in the Gulf of Finland

Kindral Kurvits

The Estonian Police and Border Guard Board naval fleet consists of four large vessels, and Kindral Kurvits is one of them. It is an offshore oil collecting vessel, as well as a patrol vessel.

Her gross tonnage is 1053 and deadweight is 338 and the vessel was built and delivered in 2012.

Tursas

Tursas is one of the patrol vessels operated by the Finnish Border Patrol, responsible for enforcing the security of Finland’s borders.

In addition to being an ace going. vessel, she is fitted with two sweeping arms for oil recovery operations, each with a sweeping length of 30 metres and a recovered oil storage capacity of over 100 cubic metres.

The RV-series

The RV-series is “The Swiss Army knife” of patrol boats. The RV90 was the prototype for the current RV20 series, of which we have built a total of seven boats.

The vessels can be used for both border and maritime safety and rescue missions, as well as for combating environmental damage. They have also been assigned systems and capabilities to perform military national defence missions. They can be used during all seasons and is designed to break up to 20 centimetres if solid ice.

Glückstadt

The German Customs Patrol Boat  Glückstadt operates in the coastal waters of the Baltic Sea. The seaworthiness, steerability and directional stability enables her to operate also in difficult weather conditions.

Kontroler-19

The Polish Maritime office’s Patrol Boat Kontroller-19 operates out of Gdansk in Poland.

The vessel is designed and built for multimission patrol tasks in the Baltic Sea off the Polish coast, such as European fisheries law enforcement and illegal fishing.

Kontroler-19 was built in 2009 and is designed to operate in difficult weather conditions.

Faire

Built in 2009, Faire is a Customs Patrol Boat owned by the Revenue Commissioners of Ireland and operates out of Cork.

Her main function is to patrol and monitor the Irish territorial waters and adjoining seas. Main tasks are prevention, detection, interception and seizure of controlled drugs, fiscal goods, weapons and other restricted goods.

Faire is an all-weather design with ample accommodation and facilities allow for extended patrolling of the coast.

Kontroler-22

Jenny Wihuri

The Jenny Wihuri is owned by the Finnish Lifeboat Association. She was takin into service in 1999, has undergone received a few upgrades during her life and has now become somewhat of a superstar in her category of vessels. 

With a width of 6 meters and an overall length of 23,8 meters, she accommodates 6-10 people. Jenny Wihuri is also the training vessel of the Maritime Rescue Centre.

Svante G

Svante G is owned by the Åland Search and Rescue Society. As the main purpose is SAR operations, the vessel was designed with special consideration to seaworthiness, steerability and directional stability.

Fabian Wrede

The main function of this vessel is to operate as a teaching vessel, training the Finnish Naval Academy cadets within the basics of navigation and ship handling. The vessel’s design is adapted for training. For example, the engine room is spacious, the mess can be converted into a training space and the placement of bridge equipment is equivalent to those on warships.

Pansio class minelayer

A midlife upgrade was carried out on the Finnish Navy owned and operated Pansio class minelayer. The main objective was to expand the operational lifetime of the vessel, as well as improve its minelaying and heavy sea transport capabilities. During the upgrade the vessel’s interior, machinery, navigation and combat systems were completely renewed.
